Navajo Dam, in Northern New Mexico, offers the beauty and recreational activities of the San Juan River and Navajo Lake, a mini-Lake Powell covering over 15,000 acres. Boaters may explore main channels and countless side canyons, taking advantage of many marinas and camping areas.

The lake offers first class fishing for trout, bass, pike, and salmon. Wildlife viewers may observe waterfowl and land-dwelling creatures ranging from elk to lizards.

The San Juan River is a world class fly-fishing river with catch/release quality waters. The river is within walking distance of Yoga With Balance.

The Aztec Ruins National Monument is not far away, offering visitors the opportunity to explore Anasazi ruins, including the reconstructed Great Kiva.
